Engraving:

• When adding any text information on the tag, be sure to include details such as your pet's name, and at least one phone number (preferably mobile), ensuring that you include the city and state where you live.
• Large tag, ideally up to 4 lines and up to 20-24 characters per line.
• Note: use up to 20 characters on center lines with holes (Lines 2 & 3).

Mounting Instructions:

• Place the nameplate on the collar in the location where you would like to install it.
• Mark the nameplate rivet hole positions.
• For Leather or BioThane, punch holes in the collar where you made the nameplate hole marks with a hammer and punch, leather punch, or drill. Use a durable surface during installation to prevent damage.
• For nylon collars, you can use a heated ice pick; burn the edges of the holes to remove frayed strands.
• Push the rivet posts through the holes in the collar from the backside of the collar.
• Then push the rivet posts through your rivet-on nameplate and attach the provided rivet caps.
• Tap the rivet caps onto the rivet posts with a hammer and punch until the caps flatten. Use a solid base to work on. If you don't have a punch, try using the hammer to flatten the caps.

Note: We highly recommend purchasing a riveting punch and mandrel base setting tool for a professional installation. Rivet caps are 8 mm.
