How to Install the Rivet Tag on a Leather Collar or Nylon Collar:

When installing a rivet tag on a leather or nylon collar, it's important to follow these steps for a secure and professional installation.

1. First, place the nameplate on the collar in the desired location. Next, mark the nameplate's rivet hole positions.
2. Using a hammer and punch, leather punch, or drill, punch holes in the collar where you made the marks. For nylon collars, an ice pick can be used to create the holes, and then the edges should be burned to remove any frayed strands.
3. Once the holes are created, push the rivet posts through the backside of the collar and then through the rivet-on nameplate.
4. Attach the provided rivet caps and use a hammer and punch to tap them onto the rivet posts until they flatten.

It is recommended to use a solid base when working with the hammer and punch. For a professional installation, we highly recommend purchasing a riveting punch and mandrel base setting tool. Please note that the rivet caps are 8 mm in size.
